Melissa Ballard- Owner + Salon Director
Melissa is a Master Stylist with more than 20 years of experience in the industry. She successfully developed Melissa Ballard Styling to its full potential and decided to scale her business. Currently, she is booked months ahead and has an expanding waitlist, establishing herself as a premier stylist with numerous sought-after certifications. Additionally, as a highly requested wedding stylist, she is poised to grow her team further and plans to make strides in the event market.
Lauren Powlovich- Medical Doctor + Medical Director
Lauren is a medical doctor specialized in anesthesiology, but for the past five years, she has served as the Associate Chief Medical Officer at a medical research organization. She earned her MBA from Darden in May 2023. In her role as our Medical Director, she prioritizes safety and compliance while ensuring our guests feel comfortable and confident about their upcoming aesthetic procedures. Her mission is to help women achieve a beautiful look that appears as natural as possible. Lauren is known for being easygoing, insightful, and highly organized.

Diane Bojarski- Operations Manager
Diane is the essence of Stone Fox, embodying its spirit while wearing many hats. She not only keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes but also represents our multifaceted business. Often, she is the one answering the phone and replying to emails, calls, texts, and DM’s. Her dedication to guest services and satisfaction is evident. As a Charlottesville native with a background in social work, she possesses the experience, knowledge, and interpersonal skills needed for Stone Fox to thrive and prosper.
